What the numbers mean
Women's sizes 44, 55, 66, 77 and 88 come from an old height and chest system and are still the most common labels. Many shops also use the chest-size system 85, 90, 95, 100 for women. Men's tops are labelled by chest size in centimeters: 95 is a typical M and 100 a typical L. Trousers use waist size in inches (28, 30, 32) or centimeters.
Korean fits tend to run smaller and slimmer than US sizes, so many visitors go one size up. "FREE" means one size, usually fitting about S to M.
